Our services
Acceptance of Terms: These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of WooCommerce AI Chat (the “Service”), a paid WordPress/WooCommerce plugin and its accompanying merchant dashboard, provided by [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name] (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
What the Service does: WooCommerce AI Chat is a chat widget you install on your own WooCommerce store. It answers shopper questions using AI models grounded in your product catalog and store content, and can generate catalog content (product descriptions, category descriptions, tags, summaries, and image alt text) on your behalf (“AI Tasks”). A persistent on-widget disclosure informs your shoppers they are interacting with an AI assistant, as required under the EU AI Act.
Subscription plans: The Service is offered on monthly subscription plans (Growth, Pro, Business), each with its own monthly allowance of chat replies, indexed memory items, and AI Tasks, billed through WooCommerce and processed by Stripe. Plan details and current pricing are published on our Pricing page and may change with notice.
Your account: You manage your subscription, license key, billing history, and account settings through the merchant dashboard, authenticated via your WooCommerce customer account.
Property rights
Ownership: The Service — including the plugin code, dashboard, and all associated software — is owned by the Company and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Service on your own WooCommerce store(s) for the duration of an active subscription. The Service is distributed privately and is not published on the WordPress.org plugin directory.
Your content: You retain all rights to your product catalog, store content, and any content generated via AI Tasks for your store. We do not claim ownership of your store data.
Pricing: Prices for our plans may change with notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue plans or features, subject to reasonable notice to active subscribers.

Prohibited activities
Acceptable use: You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to distribute malware, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or in a way that violates applicable law, including data-protection law applicable to your shoppers.
Reverse engineering: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code, models, or underlying prompts of the Service.
Abuse of quotas: Attempting to circumvent usage quotas (chat replies, memory items, AI Tasks) through automated abuse, credential sharing across stores, or similar means is prohibited and may result in suspension.
Services management

Suspension and termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, including quota abuse or unlawful use. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your WooCommerce account or the merchant dashboard.
What happens when you cancel: On cancellation, your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period. After a grace period, your store’s indexed catalog data (vector index), chat logs, and related cached data are permanently deleted from our systems as part of our standard data-erasure process. This deletion is logged and is re-applied automatically even if we restore from a backup.
Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
